ARMED HERDSMEN ATTACK ONDO STATE COMMUNITY, INJURE EIGHT, CART AWAY PROPERTIES
No fewer than eight persons were severely injured by the suspected herdsmen following their invasion during the weekend into the Ago-Oyinbo community at Ala forest reserve, Akure North LGA, Ondo State.
The information available indicates that the herdsmen came in their numbers with dangerous weapons on them and attacked the residents of the community, inflicted a degree of injury on many, looted their foodstuff, and carted away properties.
Meanwhile, the suspect carried out the heinous operation unchallenged while the injured individuals were nursing their wounds.
