ARMED HOODLUMS ATTACK TRADERS, LOOT SHOPS IN IBADAN COMMUNITY
Armed hoodlums on Monday, December 21, attacked traders at Gbaremu-Idi-Obi, Baba Sebi Oba along Iwo road expressway of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Eyewitnesses account revealed that the hoodlums beat up traders, looted their shops and also shot sporadically.
The incident which caused panic and unrest in the area started around 1 pm on Monday.
As at the time of filing this report, normalcy has been restored following the mobilization of operatives of the Operation Burst, Policemen and Amotekun outfit to the area.
