BAN ON OKADA REINFORCED IN KATSINA
The Katsina State Police Command has reinforced the ban on motorcycle(okada) movements from 10p.m to 6a.m within the city due to the recent threats to Security caused by terrorists and other criminal elements using motorcycles.
The State Police spokesperson SP Gambo Isa, disclosed this via his Twitter handle on Monday, August 1, 2022.
He explained that the restriction in other Local Government Areas, especially the frontline areas, remained from 6p.m to 6 a.m.
The State Government initially banned motorcycle movements from the above-mentioned time due to insecurity, Governor Aminu Masari lifted the restriction during Ramadan.
