BANDITS STORM GORONYO MARKET IN SOKOTO, KILL SEVERAL PERSONS AND CART FOOD ITEMS AWAY
Bandits have attacked the Goronyo market in Goronyo Local Government Area in the Eastern Senatorial District of Sokoto State.
Sources in the village said the assailants attacked the market in large numbers on Sunday night, shooting sporadically and killing several persons.
Eons Intelligence gathered that the assailants also carted foodstuffs and other items away.
As of the time of filing this report, the specific number of casualties recorded cannot be ascertained.
Recall that 20 persons were killed earlier this month at Ungwan Lalle market in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of the State.
