BOKO HARAM ATTACK MILITARY SUPER CAMP IN DIKWA, 6 KILLED

At least 6 persons have lost their lives during a Boko Haram attack on a military 'super camp' in Dikwa, Borno State.


The attack occurred barely 24 hours after the newly appointed service chiefs resumed office.


Eons Intelligence gathered that heavily armed insurgents aboard vehicles with gun trucks attacked the military base in Dikwa at about 6:30 PM on Friday. 


Intel available to Eons Intelligence indicates that the insurgents simultaneously attacked the military camp from the southern and western axis.

Eons Intelligence has confirmed that at least 6 persons were killed by stray bullets at different locations during the gun battle that lasted for hours. 


Some of the locations where stray bullets hit and killed people are: Kamchejin, Motor Park, Bulabulin Camp, and a Fulatari Camp.


The insurgents were able to snatch 2 vehicles, one belonging to the police and another belonging to the vigilantes. 


Sources say sometime during the attack, the insurgents gained access into the town and called for prayers. After prayers, the terrorists shot into the air before leaving the town.

 

There are indications that the Insurgents also abducted two women.
