BOKO HARAM COMMANDER, FIGHTERS SURRENDER TO THE NIGERIAN MILITARY
Following the inter-ethnic shooting between the Boko Haram insurgencies and their Commanders that led to the death of about 82 fighters, the Commander that instigated the altercation has finally surrendered to the Nigerian military.
The information available indicated that on 16th August 2023 Amir Bukkwaram, his family, and fighters of his group voluntarily surrendered themselves and handed all their weapons including three AK47 rifles and seven magazines, and herds to the military.
Recall that EONS Intelligence reported on 16th August 2023 the shooting that ensued between the fighters and their commanders that led to the killing of 82 among them.
Amir who hails from a village called Shuwaram in Kukawa LGA is known to be the top Boko Haram intelligent fighter profiling people living around the Lake Chad area. Meanwhile, he and his people were taken to Sector 3 of Operation Hadin kai) MNJTF in Monguno.
