BREAKING: GANDUJE REJECTS KWANKWASO'S ISOLATION CENTRE OFFER
The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has rejected an offer by Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso to donate his Hospital as an isolation centre.
This was disclosed by the Kwankwasiyya Foundation owned by Rabiu Kwankwaso. It stated that Ganduje
refused to accept the offer by the former Governor of the state.
Senator Kwankwaso's donation is a newly built 60-bed capacity hospital to be used as an isolation centre for Coronavirus patients- which the state needs direly.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control recently admitted that it is struggling for bed spaces to treat COVID-19 patients in isolation centres. The NCDC boss, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, mentioned Kano as one of the states in dire need of isolation centres.

A few days ago, Ganduje accused the Federal Government of abandoning his state amid the fight against Coronavirus.
Yet, the Governor is playing politics at the detriment of the people's lives because the donor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, belongs to an opposition political party.
Ganduje had earlier cried out to President Muhammadu Buhari to ease lockdown order imposed on the state amid Holy month of Ramadan.
Kano state is currently the second leading state in the country with 219 COVID-19 cases, which shows it needs more sophisticated medical attention and should not reject donations because of a mere political grudge.
