BREAKING: GHANA DECLARES LOCKDOWN IN TWO KEY REGIONS.
Ghana has declared a two weeks lockdown in the country's two main regions of Greater Accra Metropolitan Area and Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area, which would take effect from Monday, March 30th, 2020, to curb the spread of the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic.
This decision came as the authorities reported 137 confirmed cases of the virus and 4 deaths.
President Nana Akufo - Ado said there would be "Restrictions on movement of persons in the Greater Accra metropolitan area and The Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area, and Contiguous Districts for a period of two weeks"
