BREAKING: POLICE ARRESTS NOTORIOUS KIDNAPPERS LINKED TO THE KILLING OF UNIPORT STUDENTS
The Anti-Kidnap Unit (AKU), in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, today, arrested kidnappers linked to the abduction of 4 Uniport students.
The suspects, identified as Friday Akpan and Emmanuel, both from Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State, were arrested by security operatives and confessed to series of kidnappings.
Police investigation led to the arrest of one Bright “Nelly” who led the security forces to Friday Akpan and Emmanuel.

The operation was launched by the operatives following a complaint by Umor Adoki who made a report on May 7, that his younger sister and three others were missing. The names of the missing persons are Nelson Nwafor, Fortune Obemba, both male, and Joy Adoki, a female 400 level student- all students of Uniport.
Friday Akpan led the operatives to the forest where the victims were killed.
The remains of their victims were recovered and deposited at UBTH.
An investigation is currently in progress for further information.
