NDLEA OPERATIVES ARREST POPULAR SKIT MAKER, OTHERS IN LAGOS RAIDS
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, in the early hours of Wednesday, arrested a popular skit maker, Sunday Joshua, also known on social media as De-General. The arrest followed the raid of a notorious drug joint at Orchid Estate in Lekki, Lagos state.
The Narcotic officers reportedly stormed the drug joint in the Estate and Three suspects were arrested with illicit drugs including 200 sachets of 225mg Tramadol and 1.5kilograms of cannabis sativa. While the operation was ongoing, some suspects, including the dealer escaped with bags suspected to contain hard drugs.
They were however trailed to a house located at 2B Saula Akinlolu way, Orchid estate, which is the residence of 22-year-old Sunday Joshua, also known as De General. The young lads were reported to have initially resisted a search of the premises.
The operatives introduced themselves as officers of NDLEA and submitted themselves for search before entry. This was done and a search was conducted. The search reportedly led to the recovery of drug exhibits including cannabis sativa, Tramadol 225mg, and some items meant for drug abuse.
The suspects had craved the indulgence of the Operatives to have the search videod by them. The NDLEA officials obliged. The said video is now trending on social media. A statement by NDLEA said it was the moment the suspect and his friends decided to disrupt the bid to conduct a search of the house.
The suspect who is currently in custody has however reportedly confessed and admitted ownership of the drugs recovered from his house.
