The Senate on Thursday warned State House officials to restrain President Muhammadu Buhari and other top Government heads from flying abroad for medical attention.

The upper chamber noted that the move was to ensure that the State House clinic becomes functional in 2020.

The Senate Committee on Federal Character and Intergovernmental Affairs gave the warning when the State House Permanent Secretary, Tijani Umar, appeared before the panel to defend his 2021 budget estimates.
