HOODLUMS INVADE POLICE STATION IN AKWA IBOM, KILL TWO OFFICERS, AND SET FIVE VEHICLES ABLAZE
Eons Intelligence have gathered that hoodlums suspected to be members of the ESN/IPOB invaded the Ibiaku Ntok Police station in Ikono LGA of Akwa Ibom State, killing two officers, and setting the vehicles ablaze in the process.
It was gathered that the assailants stormed the police facility around 3am on Saturday morning, injuring a police woman on night duty, and also destroying several other structures.
Reacting to the incident, the Executive Chairman of Ikono Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Nyakno Okoibu, has vowed to arrest the perpetrators of the act and bring them to justice.
Hon. Okoibu alongside the Chief Security Officer immediately deployed police operatives to the scene of the incident to restore calm and normalcy to the area.

The Executive Chairman, who admonished residents of the LGA to stay calm, noted that security operatives are working assiduously to improve the security apparatus of the community and prevent a future occurrence of the incident.
