CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF APPLAUDS TROOPS OF 8 DIVISIONS AND OPERATION HADARIN DAJI DURING A COURTESY VISIT TO THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF ZAMFARA STATE
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya in a courtesy call to the Executive Governor of Zamfara State commended the Troops of 8 Division and Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD) for their resilience and bravery in curtailing the activities of criminals marauding in the Northern parts of the Country.
The COAS made the call during his operational tour of the Divisions formations and units on Wednesday, August 4 at Gusau in Zamfara. He encouraged the troops to collaborate with other security agencies in the elimination of insurgency while admonishing them not to rest on their oars in crushing bandits and restoring peace and normalcy to the region.

General Yahaya further reiterated the need for the troops to conduct their activities in line with operational codes of conduct while observing respect for fundamental human rights.
The COAS also made a presentation of the Nigerian Army’s memento to the Executive Governor of Zamfara State Governor, Dr Bello Muhammad during the courtesy visit where discussions bothering on the security of the region was extensively addressed.
