The theme of this Seminar which is *Enhancing Training and Operation Through Doctrinal Imperatives in a Joint Environment is therefore apt as it encapsulates the philosophy of my vision. May I reinstate here that my vision for the NA is anchored on 4 critical pillars notably Professionalism, Readiness, Administration and Cooperation, all interlinked for the development of the NA."

General kadiri stressed that "The bedrock of any Army lies on training which is focused on professionalism and guided by doctrine. This is why the recently produced NA Training Policy is extricably tied to the Nigerian Army Doctrine 2022. "Training must always be realistic, continuous and evolving to meet the changing nature of war, conflicts and domestic realities as well as its imperatives"; he emphasized. To ensure efficient training in the NA, the combat efficiency of the force must be progressively evaluated. Consequently, " The need to ensure that materiel are accurately and speedily sourced and delivered to troops at the right time, place and in the right condition especially in a battle situation is crucial" he added.

Earlier, the Commander TRADOC NA Maj Gen SO Olabanji thanked the COAS for continuous support in ensuring that these projects are completed. General Olabanji added that "the combined Training and Doctrine Seminar is a pivotal event organized in line with our Training Directives, which set the pace for training and doctrinal development activities in the command as well as guide the NA in general. Thus, to reinvigorate on our standards, the seminar was renamed; TRADOC Combined Training and Doctrine Seminar, and repositioned to lay the foundation for a robust NA training and doctrinal activities for the new training year. The objective here is to highlight issues that borders primarily on key aspects of our military affairs such as training, operations, administration and logistics and their impact on the effectiveness of the NA".

It is important to note that the gains of our past editions have greatly enabled the conceptualization of this seminar. It is therefore quite relevant and apt to our continuous quest in proffering solutions to the training and operational needs facing the optimal performance of the NA".
