  		'post_content' => '<p>The Magistrate court sitting in Eket, on 22nd May 2023 sentenced two young men identified as Aniekan Samuel Sampson and Akaninyene Samuel, to a four-year jail term, respectively, for vandalizing a company's facilities in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.</p><p><br></p><p>The convicts were found guilty of vandalizing the facilities belonging to Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution (PHED) company and also stealing XLPE Cables from the UDOFA QIC Substation of PHED on November 3, 2021.</p><p><br></p><p>Consequently, their offenses are punishable under section 556(1)(1) of the criminal code cap. 38 Vol. 2 Laws of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, 2000.</p><p><br></p><p>Meanwhile, the convicts are expected to serve their respective jail terms at the Nigerian Correctional Service facility, Eket.</p>',
