COVID-19: EASTER CHURCH SERVICES BANNED IN IMO

The Imo state government has banned Easter church services in the state.


This was disclosed by the state commissioner for Information and strategy, Declan Emelumba. He said lockdown order in the state against the spread of Coronavirus

will continue.


Declan said that the lockdown was temporarily lifted by the government on Friday to enable people shop for the Easter celebration.



He stressed that the lockdown continues from Saturday, 11th April. 


Declan said that the government is determined and making sure that all measures to avoid the disease from entering the state are followed.
