COVID-19: FG SET TO EXTEND LOCKDOWN IN LAGOS, OGUN, AND FCT BY 7 DAYS.
There are indications that the Federal Government would declare a 7 days extension of the lockdown of Ogun, Lagos, and the FCT.
This comes after the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Mr Bos Mustapha hinted while obtaining COVID-19 management reports from Lagos State yesterday.
The Chairman of the COVID-19 Presidential Task force disclosed that President Buhari will make the declaration after reviewing the reports given to him as only the president has the power to do so. He stated further that when the announcement is made, it will not exceed 7 days. He said: "The President will be briefed today and if there is any need for the extension, Mr President will not hesitate to give the announcement later today."
Meanwhile, the announcement is yet to be made as at the time of filling this report.
