PRESIDENT BUHARI RE-APPOINTS GARBA DANTATA AS NCC VICE-CHAIRMAN
President Buhari has reappointed Prof Umar Garba Dantata as the executive Vice-Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
This was confirmed by Bashir Ahmad, the Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media, on his official Twitter handle.
Ahmad tweeted; ‘’President @MBuhari has approved the reappointment of Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta as Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). He will be serving another 5 years as the Chief Executive Officer of the Commission.’’
The Minister of communications and digital economy, Dr Isa Pantami told newsmen in Abuja that the President’s decision was to consolidate the gains made in the telecommunications sector in line with the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy of the country.
