COVID-19: TWO RESIDENTS ISOLATED IN GOMBE
Two persons identified as showing symptoms of coronavirus in Billiri town, Gombe State, have been reported and confined to their respective homes.
The duo were said to be among 12 people that travelled from Lagos to Billiri.
This was contained in a statement by the Chairman, Gombe State COVID-19 Taskforce, Prof Idris Mohammed, in a press conference in Gombe on Thursday, 9th April.
He said arrangement had been made to take the blood samples of the suspected patients today, Friday 10th,for test.
“We have taken a total of 19 suspected case blood samples to the laboratory, 16 are negative, we are still awaiting the results of three,” he added.
Quoted from the statement of Idris, a total of 327 cases had been investigated, following useful information from members of the public.
