COVID-19: US RELIEF AID TRAINED HEALTH WORKERS ARE ON THE FRONTLINE

The US Embassy have stated the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and has trained almost 240,000 health workers, majority of which are serving in Sub-Sahara Africa.

The mission indicates that these health workers provides care for people, oftentimes at great personal risk as the bow that world is battling with pandemic like COVID-19.



It would be recalled that several health experts from the US provided support to the Nigerian government during the Last Ebola outbreak in Nigeria. This support, especially to a country not prepared or experienced in such dreadful infectious disease helped a great deal to eradicate it.
