EFCC ARRESTS FORMER ATTORNEY GENERAL IN AKWA IBOM
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have arrested a former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Akwa Ibom State, Uwemedimo Nwoko.
Eons Intelligence gathered that the former AG who had been at large for about 2 years was arrested in Uyo on Tuesday.
Sources say Justice Nwoko was taken for questioning in regards to N1.410 billion property belonging to the Akwa Ibom state government.

Confirming the development, EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren who confirmed the arrest, told journalists that the judge would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
Recall that Rochas Okorocha, a serving senator as well as a former governor of Imo State was arrested on Tuesday in Abuja by EFCC operatives.
