EFCC URGES COURT TO DENY SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER, ADEHERSELF, BAIL
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has urged an Ikeja Special Offences Court to deny popular social media influencer, Ademola Adewale, aka Adeherself, bail.
The lead Prosecuting counsel of the anti-graft agency, Samuel Daji, made the plea on Monday, July 13, during the hearing on the charge of possession of fraudulent documents against the defendant.
"I urge the court to refuse the bail of the defendant and order accelerated hearing," Daji said.

This is coming after the defence counsel, Tunde Salami, urged the court to grant his client bail on liberal terms.
The presiding Judge, Justice Sherifat Solebo, after listening to the counsels, adjourned the case till Wednesday for ruling on the bail application.
Recall, the defendant was arrested along side some young men for cybercrime related offences in Lekki area of Lagos State.
