#ENDSARS: ABUJA INDIGENES GIVE IGP 48-HOUR ULTIMATUM TO STOP PROTEST
Indigenes of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have warned the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu to halt the ongoing #EndSARS protest in the region within 48 hours.
The group, led by Yanusa Ahmadu Yusuf, asked the IGP to clear protesters off the street of the FCT to avoid further insecurity threats on its people.
While presenting a letter addressed to the IGP, on Monday, October 19, Yusuf said the indigenes of Abuja are not in support of stopping the operation of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), but a total reform.

The group threatened to engage any protester seen on the street of Abuja or blocking roads after the stipulated time if the Police fail to stop the protests.
Yusuf said “Our parents can no longer continue with their daily activities, just because some people have hijacked Nigeria."
Yusuf alleged that the protests are politically influenced, "we are no longer comfortable with them. When they started, we thought they mean well for Nigerians, but today, we have discovered that they mean no well, and we will go after them".
He reiterated that if the police cannot scrap any form of protest in the FCT, the group will take prompt action.
