  		'post_content' => '<p>The immediate past commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Mr Musa Ibrahim Abubakar has reportedly escaped being assassinated in Nasarawa State.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr Ibrahim who is House of Assembly candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) for Doma South constituency, survived a gunmen attack after donating relief materials to victims of floods in his constituency.</p><p><br></p><p>Available reports indicate that he was attacked by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers when he was returning from Rukubi Town where he donated relief materials including cash and other items to victims of flood disaster in Doma LGA on September 21, 2022, at about 0530hrs.</p><p><br></p><p>The Nine gunmen reportedly opened fire on him from different directions,&nbsp;subsequently firing about 46 bullets at his car.</p><p><br></p><p>Amid the attack Ibrahim accelerated and lowered his head before stopping beside Igbabo village and was rescued by good Samaritans who took him on a motorcycle and rode for 20 kilometres to Doma before he proceeded to Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, ( DASH ) in Lafia, the State capital.</p><p><br></p><p>Three bullets were removed from him at DASH, 2 AK rifle bullets from his ribs and one metal ball from his back.</p>',
