FG EVACUATES 324 STRANDED NIGERIANS FROM THE US
The Federal Government has evacuated 324 stranded Nigerians from the US.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, via his official Twitter handle.
He said the evacuees left the Newark Airport, New Jersey, for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The Minister revealed two more evacuation flights are expected from the US on July 28th and July 31st respectively.
Recall that the Federal Government had evacuated 335 stranded citizens from the US on July 4th.
The evacuees would immediately commence their mandatory 14-day isolation as directed by the NCDC and the Federal Government.
The Federal Government has evacuated over 2,000 Nigerians from all over the world amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
