FOREIGN FORCES SEEKING TO DIVIDE NIGERIA - FFK
Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode (FFK) has stated that there are some foreign forces determined to cause a civil war in Nigeria, with the intent of ultimately dividing the country.
The former Minister who recently re-joined the ruling party disclosed this in a message on his social media platforms on Monday morning.
According to the former Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) spokesperson; “The day Nigerians appreciate the fact that there are foreign powers and forces that seek to divide us and spark off a second civil war in our country will be the day that they would have taken their first step to national redemption. May God help us.”
Although he did not name the agents or interests he referred to in the post, the statement however generated both commendations and condemnation from his followers and other users.
Some of his followers accused him of unnecessarily starring the Hornet's nest for attention while others urged security agencies to work on the information, especially considering the intensity of secession calls from different quarters of the country recently.
Recall that Nigeria was engulfed in a disastrous Civil War bbetween the Federal Government and Biafra secessionists from 1967 to 1970, resulting in the loss of more a million lives.
