Former AIG Hakeem Odumosu's Wife Abducted in Ogun State
The Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, has confirmed the abduction of Mrs. Odumosu in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The incident occurred in the Arepo area of Obafemi Owode Local Government Area when kidnappers launched a coordinated attack, leaving the community in a state of fear and shock.
According to Odutola, the victim was ambushed near her residence as she attempted to enter her home. Her Lexus Jeep was intercepted, and she was forcibly taken out of the vehicle and led through a swampy terrain to an undisclosed location.
“The divisional police officer is leading a team of officers at the scene, conducting a thorough search of the swampy bush area,” Odutola stated.
She further disclosed that traditional leaders, including the Baale of Warewa and Maaba, have been contacted to deploy local security forces to assist in the search and secure the riverine areas.
