GOVERNOR EL-RUFAI DECLARES NLC PRESIDENT, AYUBA WABBA WANTED

Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has declared Comrade Ayuba Wabba, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), wanted.

Wabba was last seen publicly in Kaduna where he led members of NLC on a protest following mass sackings by the Governor El-Rufai administration.

Eons Intelligence had earlier reported that the NLC had led members of affiliate unions on a protest that crippled economic activities in Kaduna.

Banks, hospitals, train stations, airports were shut while the State was plunged into darkness as electricity workers also joined the mass action.

In a statement via Governor El-Rufai’s official Twitter handle on Tuesday, the Governor said NLC leaders had been declared wanted for economic sabotage and attacks on public infrastructure.

The tweet reads; “KADUNA UPDATE: Ayuba Wabba & others of

@MOJKaduna  KDSG. There will be a handsome reward!’’
