GUNMEN STORM UNIABUJA CAMPUS, ATTACK LECTURER
Gunmen have attacked a Lecturer of the University of Abuja, Dr. David Okoroafor, in his office at the School’s permanent site.
This incident is coming barely 72 hours after bandits invaded the University staff quarters, kidnapping a Professor, and five others.
Reports indicate that the assailants invaded Dr. Okorafor’s office on Wednesday morning with the intention to assassinate him.
It was gathered that the armed men stormed Dr Okorafor’s office on Wednesday morning with the intention to assassinate him.
Also, bandits stormed a Junior Secondary school in Yebu community, Kwali area council, Abuja, and kidnapped the Vice- Principal, Mr. Mohammed Nuhu.
The surge in insecurity in the FCT prompted troops to intensify security measures by mounting roadblocks at strategic locations following Intelligence reports of planned bandits attack on the Nigerian capital.
