Hantavirus: Man dies in China after testing positive to another virus
Another death has been recorded in Yunnan province of China. The man died after testing positive to Hantavirus. China’s Global Times news revealed that the man died on his way back from work in Shandong province on a chartered bus.
There were fears regarding this virus as it began to gain traction by appearing as a possible pandemic triggered by Covid-19
According to Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, the primary risk for contracting the virus is Rodent infestation in and around the home. The virus can be contracted if someone touches their eyes, nose or mouth after touching rodents’ droppings, urine or nesting materials.
