KIDNAPPERS ABDUCT DPO IN EDO, DEMAND N50M RANSOM
Reports just reaching Eons intelligence indicates that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Fugar Police Station, Edo State Police Command, Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq has been kidnapped.
The Police Officer was reportedly kidnapped on Friday evening, around Ise River, along old Auchi – Ekperi- Agenebode Road, Edo State.
An anonymous source said the abductors allegedly contacted the victim's family on Saturday morning, demanding N50m as ransom for his release.
The Senior Police personnel, before his deployment to Edo State was a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) at a Station in Kano State.
Fugar is the headquarters of Etsako Central Local Government Area and hometown of late Rear Admiral Okhai Akhigbe.
Reports indicate that Local vigilantes combed the bushes last night but it was to no avail.
