LOCAL HUNTERS ARREST THREE SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS IN ADAVI LGA OF KOGI

Local Hunters have arrested three suspected kidnappers in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State.


The suspects were arrested after the Chief Security in charge of Adavi LG, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami, led the hunters to neutralize the kidnappers, who have been terrorizing residents of Osara, Aku, Irepeni, Irapana, along Okene-Lokoja highway.


Sources say the kidnappers were apprehended around 8pm at Aku Farm Centre community in Adavi LGA when some suspected Herdsmen came to perpetrate their nefarious operations but met heavy resistance from the Local Hunter.


The suspects include Abubakar Sadiq, Abdullahi Muhammed and Muhammadu Kabiru, and they are all herdsmen from Nasarawa State.

Three of the gang members were arrested while some escaped with bullet wounds after a gun battle had ensued.


It would be recalled that on November 25, gunmen stormed a farm at Lagbeta community, Kogi South LGA of Kogi, kidnapping six family members.
