SEVEN SOLDIERS KILLED AS ISWAP ATTACK MILITARY BASE IN BORNO COMMUNITY

Troops of the Nigerian Army on Friday killed not less than 24 ISWAP fighters in Rann community, Borno State.



Eons Intelligence gathered that the insurgents stormed the community in several gun trucks and attempted to attack a Military base when they were met with heavy resistance by the troops, who engaged them in a gun duel.



Sources disclose that not less than 24 insurgents were neutralized, two Military officers and five soldiers were however killed during the shootout.



Gun trucks and other ammunition were also recovered by the troops.
