MANY FEARED DEAD AS BANDITS ATTACK ZURMI COMMUNITY IN ZAMFARA
Reports indicate that armed bandits on Monday, November 23 attacked Zurmi community members in Zamfara State.
Eons Intelligence gathered that sounds of sporadic gunshots could be heard all over the town located around Zurmi local government area at about 1:30 pm.
The number of casualties is unknown at the moment.
The attack is the latest violence that has rocked the Northwest region in recent times.
Eons Intelligence earlier reported that armed bandits on motorcycles attacked a Jumuat mosque in Dutsen Gari village in Kanowa district of Zamfara State and kidnapped the imam and 17 other worshippers on Friday, November 20.
Similarly, unknown gunmen abducted Sani Dangwaggo, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gamji ward of Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State on October 7.
