Governor Obiano announced the immediate sack of CSP James who has been accused of extrajudicial killing and extorting youths in the State.
The development is coming sequel to the outcry of the Nigerian youths seeking the prosecution of the Nwafor over alleged killing of some unsuspecting citizens.
The Governor, while addressing #ENDSARS protesters in Awka on Thursday made his decision known, describing the demands of the protesters as genuine and germane.
In a statement released by Governor Obiano via his twitter handle on Thursday, he tweeted: “Today, I joined youths of our dear State to say #EndPoliceBrutality and I support them because they did not only vote and defend their votes in my 21-over-21 victory but all their requests are genuine and germane, and I oblige to honour them all.
“James Nwafor, former OC SARS in Anambra State is sacked and will be prosecuted”.
