BREAKING: Federal Government orders closure of Lagos and Abuja Airport, From Monday.

From Monday, March 23rd, the federal government has declared that it would shut down operations at the muritala muhammed international Airport, Lagos, and the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, due to the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic. Nigeria has already recorded 22 confirmed cases of the virus. The Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Musa Nuhu, disclosed this. Three other international Airports in enugu, portharcourt, and Kano already shut down activities on Saturday, leaving the two most important airports in the country.

The closure is expected to last till April 23rd but it would be opened for emergency and essential flights would be operated from both airports within the period.
