MULTIPLE CASUALTIES RECORDED AS CULTISTS CLASH IN BENIN CITY
Reports indicate that there was a cult clash in Benin City on Friday, November 13.
Areas affected by the clash include; Sakponba road, St. Saviour Road, Ogida, Isihor, Wire road, and Ire street, Ibiwe.
According to reports, there were multiple casualties from the unrest which occurred around 9.54am.
In recent months, Benin City has become notorious for the incessant cult clashes happening in the city. Less than 24 hours ago, two persons were reportedly killed during a cult clash at Upper Sakponba Area and Siloko road.
Similarly, on October 19, two persons were killed during a rival cult clash between Aiye and Eiye confraternity following the #EndSARS protest in Benin City.
Likewise, on April 10, two persons lost their lives in a cult clash in some parts of Benin City, during the partial lockdown imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.
