Regrettably, Aircraftman Sunday Enwa, who fought gallantly during the encounter, lost his life while 3 others sustained gunshot wounds during the operation.</p><p><br></p><p>Similarly, on the same day, troops deployed at Maradun killed five armed bandits at Janbako village in Maradun LGA of Zamfara State.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>The soldiers received information of reprisal attack by armed bandits at the area, then swiftly mobilized to the area to forestall the reprisal attack.</p><p><br></p><p>Eons Intelligence earlier reported that one of the Fulani bandits was killed by the community people known as Yankaze at Maradun Market.</p><p><br></p><p>The troops were ambushed around Janbako village where firefight ensued.
