NIGER STATE GOVERNOR, SANI BELLO LAUNCHES SPECIAL VIGILANTE CORPS AND OPERATIONAL VEHICLES
The Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, has launched a special vigilante corps in the State.
The special Vigilante corps is aimed at curtailing the activities of the youth gangs, especially in Minna.
The corps were drawn from nine different local security outfits at the Police Hqtrs, Minna. They are to complement the insufficient personnel in the conventional security agencies.
Their operations are within Minna and its environs particularly to tackle activities of youth gangs in the State capital.
The nine groups which the vigilante were drawn include; Chinak ADC, Abidoka, WAI Brigade, Hunters Group, AOG, Vigilantes, Maito Maitumbi Security Organization.
