NIGERIA AT 60: BUHARI TO ADDRESS THE NATION

As part of activities commemorating Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary, President Muhammadu Buhari would address the nation on Thursday, 1st 2020 from the Eagle Square, Abuja.


Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday. 


He said the President would address the nation live by 10 am after the Anniversary Parade.


“The live address will commence after the Anniversary Parade beginning at 10 am which will be covered by major television and radio stations especially the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN),” Adesina said.


Therefore, the traditional early morning October 1 Presidential Broadcast will not hold.
