NIGERIAN ARMY KILLS 2 BANDITS IN AMBUSH OPERATION ON KADUNA-ABUJA EXPRESSWAY
The Kaduna-Abuja Expressway is no doubt becoming a critical hotspot for banditry attacks, as the Nigerian Army has again killed two bandits along the route.
The operation carried out on Sunday, October 4 was conducted following credible intelligence on activities of suspected gunmen in the area.
The gallant soldiers on getting a distress alert from residents of the area laid an ambush on the route of the bandits where they engaged them in fierce fire attack which led to the death of the duo, while others escaped with gunshot injuries.
Two locally fabricated guns were recovered from the bandits.

The soldiers are currently on manhunt mission to arrest the fleeing bandits in the area.

Recall that the Nigerian military and Police warded off an attack of suspected kidnappers along the road on the afternoon of Friday, September 4.
The security operatives repelled the bandits from kidnapping their victims.
Also, on September 2, the Nigerian Soldiers killed 4 armed bandits at Jeka Da Rabi area along the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.
The troops overwhelmed the criminals with high-intensity fire, resulting in the killing of four bandits, while four others escaped with gunshot wounds, Eons Intelligence reports.

The soldiers recovered one AK 47 rifle and 5 rounds of 9mm with a magazine from the bandits.
On the same axis on Jun 20, the Nigerian soldier foiled an attempted kidnap of passengers by armed bandits.
