No Hiding Place: NAF Executes Precision Airstrikes on Terrorist Enclaves in Sambisa and Southern Tumbuns
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), operating under the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), has executed two successful precision air interdiction missions on terrorist strongholds in the Sambisa general area and the Southern Tumbuns of Borno State.
The first strike, carried out at approximately 5:30 a.m. on April 15, targeted Kollaram — a notorious insurgent hideout. Intelligence reports corroborated by surveillance footage confirmed the presence of high-value terrorist commanders and active terrorist structures, some of which were equipped with solar panels. NAF assets launched a coordinated precision strike, neutralizing several fighters and crippling vital infrastructure used by the terrorists.
Later that day, at about 3:55 p.m., a second strike was executed in Arra, within the Sambisa axis. Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions had detected a large concentration of terrorist elements. The NAF deployed precision-guided munitions, resulting in the destruction of enemy targets and significantly disrupting terrorist operations in the area.
These back-to-back operations form part of a sustained air campaign aimed at degrading terrorist capabilities, dismantling their command structures, and denying them any sanctuary within Nigerian territory.
The Nigerian Air Force reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring national security and declared that no location in the country will be allowed to serve as a safe haven for terrorists.
