OBASEKI COMMENDS EDO SECURITY AGENCIES ON SECURITY IMPROVEMENT
Governor Godwin Obaseki has commended the security agencies in Edo State over what he described as a noticeable improvement in the security of lives and property in the State, especially in the past month.
This was the crux of the monthly security meeting held at the Government house in Benin yesterday. The meeting had in attendance the heads of the various military and para-military formations in the state as well as a high delegation of the State Government.
The Governor expressed his satisfaction over the reduced incidents of kidnappings along the Benin-Auchi road in particular.
He also charged the security chiefs not to rest on their oars as their is room for improvement, despite their laudable performance in the period under review. He noted that security is the foundation upon which a prosperous society is built.
The Governor further implored the security agency chiefs to keep leveraging on the existing synergy between their various offices and that of the Edo State Government for more positive results.
