PALPABLE TENSION IN SOKOTO STATE AS HOODLUMS ATTEMPT TO ATTACK HAJIYA HALIMA GSM MARKET OFF, ABDULAHI FODIO ROAD OVER THE KILLING OF A PREGNANT WOMAN AND HER 4 CHILDREN IN THE SOUTHEAST
The attack embarked upon by hoodlums at about 1245hrs at Hajiya Haliya GSM Market, off Abdullahi Fodio road in Sokoto was thwarted by security agents.
The grievance of the marauding youths was said to be retaliation for the killing of a pregnant woman and her 4 children in Anambra State.
Tension is high around the area and active situational awareness is adviced.
