POLICE NEUTRALIZE ONE, ARREST 5 SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS
In a bid to curb criminal elements within Delta State, operatives of the command attached to 'B' Division, Warri at about 0013hrs, 4th May 2023 received a distress call that some armed robbers snatched a black Lexus car along warri-sapele road and have been robbing innocent citizens using the said car.
The DPO swiftly mobilized and led a striking force team of the division, trailed the hoodlums, and engaged them in a gun duel. One of the suspects was neutralized while others were arrested.
Hence, one locally made cut-to-size double barrel gun, two live cartridges, and one suspected stolen vehicle were recovered.
