GUNMEN KIDNAP WIFE OF GOVERNOR AKEREDOLU'S CHIEF OF STAFF IN ONDO
Wife of Olugbenga Ale, Chief of Staff to Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has been abducted by suspected gunmen.
Multiple sources say Mrs Ale was kidnapped at Owena in Idanre council area of the State on Thursday night, November 26, while returning from Lagos to Akure.
The victim was abducted by the gunmen who laid siege on the highway and took her into the forest, sources added.

This happened barely 24 hours after armed men suspected to be kidnappers killed Oba Israel Adewusi, a traditional ruler of lfon in Ose Local Government area of the State.
Eons Intelligence reported that the monarch was killed on Thursday, while returning from a meeting of council of obas in Akure.

The Police Spokesperson in Ondo State, Teo Leo Ikoro, has confirmed the abduction.
He said security operatives have been deployed to the forests to secure her release.
Kidnappings and other crimes have been on the increase in Nigeria following the #ENDSARS protest.
