Recent operations have yielded significant successes in repelling terror attacks, raiding criminal hideouts, and intercepting kidnappers.

In Borno State, police operatives thwarted an attack on the Jakana Divisional Police Headquarters in the early hours of November 28, 2024. A group of terrorists met fierce resistance from officers, forcing their retreat with severe injuries. One police officer sustained injuries but is responding to treatment.

On November 25, 2024, Sokoto State police, in collaboration with other security agencies, conducted raids on bandit camps, recovering AK-47 rifles, ammunition, and other weapons. The occupants fled upon the operatives’ arrival, with efforts ongoing to apprehend them.

Similarly, on November 28, 2024, Delta State police foiled a kidnapping attempt in Asaba. During a gunfight, the suspects fled into the bush with injuries, leaving behind an operational vehicle containing three AK-47 rifles, two pump-action rifles, and other ammunition.
