PRESIDENT BUHARI APPOINTS PROF. GODWILL OBIOMA AS NEW NECO REGISTRAR
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Prof Godswill Obioma as the new registrar of the National Examinations Council.
This was disclosed by Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant to President Buhari on New Media, via his official Twitter handle.
Ahmad Tweeted; "President @MBuhari has approved the appointment of Prof. Godswill Obioma as new Registrar of the National Examinations Council (NECO). Until his appointment, Prof. Obioma was the Ebonyi State Resident Commissioner of the Commission, a statement issued by NECO disclosed."
Recall that President Buhari has sacked former Registrar of the Exams body, Prof. Charles Ukwakwe on May 20th over alleged fraudulent practices and suppression of official records.
Four other persons were sacked alongside the Registrar.
