PRESIDENT VISIT: ADAMAWA COMMISSIONER OF POLICE DEPLOYS OPERATIONAL ASSET, RESTRICT VEHICULAR MOVEMENT
In an effort to sustain the already existing public order, public safety and Security in the state, the Commissioner of Police, CP SK Akande, has ordered the deployment of additional operational assets that includes Surveillance patrol men, Tactical/ Operational teams, Police Mobile Force (PMF), Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU). Crowd/Traffic Control Units among others.
The Teams, are expected to carry out covert surveillance as well as confidence-building patrols in the state in conjunction with sister security agencies.
The CP has assured synergy and good working relationship among all security agencies which will be put into place with security deployment to ensure the visit of Mr. President is hitch-free.
The CP has equally ordered that vehicular movement be restricted especially those coming from Sangere Numan road to Yola town to branch from Federal Government Girls College junction through Jambutu Motor park leading to Doubeli Junction.
For those coming from Yola town to the Airport, they are advised to take the 80 Housing units through the commissioner's quarters down to Mubi Roundabout.
