SEVEN ABDUCTED AS GUNMEN INVADE RESIDENCE OF ZAMFARA LAWMAKER
Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted the wife and four children of the lawmaker representing Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara at the State House of Assembly, Aminu Ardo Jangebe.
The gunmen who stormed the lawmaker's residence in Jangebe community on Thursday, December 8, 2022, also kidnapped two of his neighbours identified as Alhaji Yahaya and Sa,adu Mainama.
Information available indicates that the bandits invaded the town at about 2300hrs of Thursday and began to shoot sporadically to scare away people.
Amid the attack, they went straight to the residence of Aminu Ardo where they broke the gate to gain entry and subsequently abducted his wife and four children.
As they were coming out of the house, they spotted two of his neighbours, MalamYahaya and Sa,adu Mainama who they also abducted.
